The paint is on the walls and the kid’s beds have been moved back to their room. There’s still lots to do… molding will be next (I hope!). So, what do you think of the bright green walls? I really like it. I looked all over for brightly colored comforters, too and finally settled on these from Target. I found a few others that I actually liked better, but I couldn’t beat Target’s price. The kids think they’re awesome. They really like that they match, too. (No arguing over who gets which one!)
If you’ve been following me very long, you’ll know that I started this little painting project in April. You’re probably wondering what took me so long and the answer is simple. I’m lazy… and I’ve really enjoyed having the kids sleeping in my room. There’s something so comforting about waking in the middle of the night and hear them breathing, snoring or just rolling over in bed. It’s been really nice. I still let them crawl in bed with me on nights that Jason has to work. Since I’ve already been through this before when Taylor was little, I know how quickly this time passes.
And contrary to popular belief… NO, the room does not glow in the dark!

hey, ironically our kids bathroom is the same exact color. Nope, no glow :)
ReplyDeleteLoving their new bedding, and it matches the walls perfectly!
ReplyDeleteStill waiting for our new house and getting to paint walls - I'm jealous! :)
