Santa Breakfast

Each year, Taylor’s grandparents take our entire family to a Santa Breakfast at the country club.  It’s become a wonderful tradition for our family since we’ve been doing it since Taylor was little.  We get to enjoy a fabulous buffet breakfast, followed by a magic show and finally, Santa arrives!  Here are a few of my semi-non-blurry pictures. I’m starting to think something is going wrong with my camera.  At least 3 people took pictures and they were all a little “off”.
IMG_9626Chase loves to look out the windows at the water.  It was a little foggy, but you could see lots of ducks when we first got there.  This is typical Chase with his tongue hanging out.

For the second year in a row, Sydney was selected by the magician to come up and assist him in a trick.  And for the second year in a row, it’s a money trick.  This time, she walked away with a $2 bill.  Hmmmm… I wonder where she put that….
It was amazing how well they sat for the show. Turns out, the magician was one of Jason’s former high school teachers.

Here they are, waiting in line to see Santa.

We also attempted a series of family pictures.

This is much more typical of how our picture taking session was going.
Well, my plan for today is getting a Christmas Tree and getting my Christmas cards addressed, so I’d better get started.

  1. Hi Paige!! I love the photo session. One of my neighbors caught on to the fact that I drag around my DSLR and I took some great outdoor pictures of my parents, so they asked me to take *their* family xmas pictures this year. big mistake - my indoor photo skills are not so good, and I stressed for a whole weekend that the pictures weren't good enough (I didn't think they were). She was able to make a nice xmas card out of our session but I've learned I'd rather take pictures of one or two people, preferable my own family!! :)
