And here's how it started.... with the breakfast of Champions!

A grande non-fat one pump white mocha, no whip and perfect oatmeal with the works (brown sugar, mixed nuts, raisins, cranberries, blueberries, etc...)
And here's how it ended... with another book before bedtime. Sydney is really getting into taking pictures for the blog. I think she likes seeing herself on the screen. : )
Tonight we read Dr. Seuss's book.... The Lorax

Sydney also wanted to take pictures of some of the pages that she liked best.

Happiness is having your kids love books! We don't read books every night, but when we do, it's something the kids really enjoy.
Happiness is taking your son to the doctor and finding out he's not anemic, his chest scan is clear and his heart looks OK. (Taylor had an episode at the gym this week. He got dizzy and blacked out, so we're having some tests run to see what's causing the problem). More to come. Next is scheduling another heart test. I can't remember what it's called, but it's something like a sonogram for your heart.
Happiness is going to bed super early... which is what Jason did tonight. He was in bed by 6:30. My sweetie works too hard!

I am way behind on commenting!! But hey, even if you don't get 1000+ followers like our MckMama, journaling is so great for the mind. And it's a great way to look back and remember things about your kids!! I'm loving the "Happiness is" theme and your cute blog layout!!
ReplyDeleteLove the pic of your breakfast of champions. Where do you get "perfect oatmeal??" Sounds delish! Is that a Starbucks thing? I wish I liked oatmeal more... I know it's good for you!
well, it's 11:55pm and obviously I'm NOT getting to bed super early. Oops. I need to, though, I really do!
Thank goodness Taylor's tests came back clear! Here's to hoping the next heart test is ok too. Medical issues can be so scary!
