Sydney picked flowers.... This time she picked dandelions instead of my hyacinths.

Check out the blue skies! It was around 70 degrees out, but it felt warmer. It was really perfect.
Chase ventured into the woods a little, but not too far. Said he was looking for cougars. We had cougar sightings in the neighborhood sometime last year and the kids still remember us talking about it.
I told Chase he had to stay in the backyard so I could see him and Sydney at the same time. He usually rides in the driveway, but today, he pushed his bike up the hill in the backyard and coasted down. It was a short ride, but he had fun. (Yes, those are Sydney's pink boots. When I give him the option of going outside, he grabs the closes pair of shoes!)

Isn't it a gorgeous day?!?! We spent some time at the park until we had enough of Itty Bit getting trampled by kids who were too big for the playground. It was so sunny it almost felt like (dare I say it) SUMMER?!?!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! Looks like the kids were enjoying the great weather too!
We loved the weather too!!! I laid out a big blanket and Aidan and I played in the backyard. I mowed and gardened and even cleaned the gutters - whoa!!!
ReplyDeleteSo I just wrote Rachel this too - I want to send you an invitation to Aidan's birthday!! I know we don't hang out in person (unless Halloween counts!), and I certainly don't expect you to bring a gift... but I thought a party with a bunch of kids running around would be a fun place for us all to meet up! It's on May 9th from 12-2, and if you can't go, that's totally ok - but just think, you'll have your very own photo of Aidan to put on your fridge! : ) So e-mail me your address if you want!!
