Happiness is...a teenager's humor

Another short post typed on my poor broken keyboard....
So, last night, I had to stop at Tops to pick up a few items for dinner. As I was passing by the fruit, a really nice lady was chopping up different types of fruit and offering a taste to passersbys. Since I was starving, which I always seem to be in the grocery store, I felt brave enough to try the mystery fruit. She said it was from SE Asia and called Rambutan. I think it looks like a sycamore ball. The oustide is spikey, but the inside is similar to a grape, but with a pit. I thint it's a confused fruit and not really worth the cost ($9.99/lb) or the work it takes to get to the little bit of goodness inside.

So, back to my son and how this story ties in to the weird fruit. I only bought 3 of the little suckers because of the price, so we all gathered around for a quick taste. I said "It's try a new fruit night", just trying to make a funny. My son says "Oh great... Mondays are going to be New Fruit Night. What's next, New Vegetable Night .... and so forth and so on." What's he trying to say? Do I talk so much about blogging that my life revolves around what blog topic day it is? I told you I was addicted!

Well, it has only taken me 30 minutes to type just this little bit, so I'm going to bed. If you're not doing so already, take a minute before bed like I do to Thank God for your many blessings and say a prayer for Stellan and his family. They are on my heart and in my thoughts every day!

Have a blessed day tomorrow!

  2. LOL at Donnie's comment... that is too funny!

So, what did it taste like?

Would have loved to been in TOPS when they were sampling those!

And cool that your son got in on the blogging too!
